It has a little bit of everything but not enough of anything. The downsides to Miro is it isn't great at anything but it's not horrible at anything either. While you can watch videos on there from other sites, Boxee does a better job of it and is more feature rich overall. It's file sharing is also pretty basic as you can't just download anything you want. Miro is a good open source video player if you can get past the fact it doesn't play a s many different types of files as the likes of VLC.
